Could you briefly describe what Druckguss Westfalen GmbH & Co. KG does and what your daily duties are?

Druckguss Westfalen GmbH & Co. KG specializes in the production of aluminum die castings, which are used in various engine components for BMW and VW brands. Our daily tasks include preventive maintenance and repair of CNC robot systems and casting machines.

What was the main factor that made you choose QRmaint’s CMMS system? What are your personal opinions about our software? Please list the most important advantages or features that influenced your decision.

We chose QRmaint because it fully meets our needs. The software is user-friendly, supports spare parts warehouse management and provides a clear overview of individual machines and devices through interactive plans on any building layout. In addition, the system allows you to attach photos and videos to reports and facilitates communication within these reports via a dedicated chat. The ability to export to a .csv file and analyze reports is also a significant advantage.

What do technicians and other users in your company think about QRmaint? Are there any features they particularly like or find particularly helpful? Were there any challenges in implementing our system?

Compared to other solutions on the market that we have tested extensively, QRmaint has proven to be the most cost-effective choice. It offers a solid and understandable package of features, without the high costs and complexity of implementation.

What are your future plans for using QRmaint? Are there any areas where you would like to expand its functionality or use additional modules? Please also share any suggestions for improvement.

In the near future we plan to implement a new feature – ‘ Autonomous Maintenance ‘ for machine operators. This additional feature will further optimize our machine maintenance capabilities and improve the continuity of the UR processes.

Would you recommend QRmaint to other companies? Please justify your recommendation based on your positive experience with use.

We highly recommend the QRmaint system. It eliminates the need for cumbersome and opaque Excel spreadsheets and allows you to store documents, such as inspection reports, directly in the software. It is very user-friendly and provides excellent visibility.
