Reason 1: System Settings #
The settings for when to start counting failures can be configured in: Settings -> System -> tab: BASIC -> section: Tasks.
If the system does not start machine downtime when a failure is reported, check the box: Automatically start downtime if a failure is reported .
Reason 2: Another downtime #
Another reason why you can’t start a new downtime on a given device is that there is another “failure” event ongoing for that device.
In such a situation, a message about the downtime in progress will be displayed…
