For the QRmaint system, a device is an object performing a specific task (e.g. a technological process), assigned to a specific location. A good definition of a device is the English word asset , which means fixed asset .
A production line is also an asset , which may or may not include other devices.
Devices and production lines are final elements subject to the supervision of technical services.
